Overactive Bladder
The unfortunate patients who have increased
bladder urgency and frequency are miserable because they need to be
near a bathroom all the time and they usually lack quality sleep.
These patients receive a
full workup which includes x-rays, cystoscopy, and urodynamics.
Treatments may include
anti-cholinergic mediations, surgery, or Interstim. Most patients
have significant improvement from one or a combination of these
treatments.
