Cancer's effects can be
devastating not just to the patient, but to loved ones, as well. Each
year, over 30,000 men die from prostate cancer. Testicular cancer is
the most common form of cancer in men 15 to 35 years old. And the
American Cancer Society estimates that this year there will be
approximately 53,000 new cases of bladder cancer, from which almost
12,000 people will die, making it the twelfth leading cause of cancer
death. Men are affected three times more frequently from bladder
cancer than women.
